Line & Pencil by Steve Dean

I like most artists enjoyed drawing when a child. I was aged 6 years old when family and friends discovered I could create a decent line drawing of mainly equine subjects, probably due to my love of heavy dray horses stabled at the London Truman Brewery stables in Brick Lane.

Upon leaving school in 1980’s, like most of that generation, life took over and my love of drawing and creative expression dampened slightly. Although I still sketched whenever the opportunity was available.
