The x6-week block period of learning will include the following topics:

Introduction to mark making leading to a finished line drawing using a variety of pencil techniques.
How to use the grid system to draw a picture.
Introducing shading techniques to objects including understanding the position of light within your drawing..
Introduction to perspective and composition in picture making with time to create your own work.
Introduction to techniques for the basics of drawing a face.
How to add colour to your work. You will use the colour wheel to understand which colours go well together. You will complete your final piece bringing together all you have learnt, utilising a variety of mediums.
